Welcome to the Biology Department web page. The Biology Department at Sterling College works to meet the needs of all students, both majors and non-majors. A major in biology will prepare students for continued work in biology, whether continuing their education at the graduate and professional level, teaching biology at the secondary level, or entering the biological research field. Non-majors will benefit from exposure to the science of biology as they further their liberal arts education. They will gain a better understanding of how science and biology impact their personal lives and the world around us all.
