A message from the chairman of the Presidential Search Committee:
Since our beginning as Cooper Memorial College in 1887 (renamed Sterling College in 1920), Sterling College has sought to develop creative and thoughtful leaders who are maturing Christians; practicing servant leadership in our broken world.

Under the leadership of Dr. Bruce Douglas, the college has made significant strides in academic excellence and financial stability. While adhering closely to the mission and purpose of Sterling College, Dr. Douglas was able to bring focus and stability in a variety of areas within the institution.
The Presidential Search Committee is seeking the Lord’s guidance and direction for the selection of the next president of our alma mater. The next President of Sterling will face many opportunities and challenges. As we look to the future, it is imperative to identify and select an individual whose giftedness and vision will continue to guide Sterling College on its current trajectory. In light of this we prayerfully request your input.
